Pro/ ENGINEER (Pro/E) la phan mem cua hang Prametric Technology Corporation (PTC). Day la phan mem thiet ke co khi phuc vu chu yeu cho nganh che tao may nhu thiet ke khuon mau. 2.1. Set Working Directory (Tao thir muc lam vifc)
Viec tao Set Working Directory rat quan trong no la thu muc dung de Imi tru tap tin hay thiet ke. Mac dinh thu muc nay la My Documents va da duqc hinh thanh mac dinh khi cai Pro/Engineer. Tuy nhien ta c6 the thiet lap thu muc lam viec bang mpt trong hai each sau day:

+ Click vao bieu tupng Open an existing object tren thanh cong cu. Sau khi click vao mpt trong hai each tren, hpp thoai Open xuat hien (hinh 2.18). Hinh 2.18
+ Click niit Preview de xem tnide cac doi tupng can mo.
+ Do mpt tap tin con c6 the c6 nhieu version (xem muc 2.4) vi vay neu muon hien thi tat ca cac versions nay ta click vao nut S I (All versions). + Neu biet chinh xac cac version muon md ta cd the nhap true tiep so cua version nay ngay sau ten doi tupug.
+ Neu muon md mpt ddi tupug chi de tham khao (khdng chinh sua), click vao nut Open Rep...
2.7. Tao mpt ban sao cua doi tu-pug
Trong trudng hpp muon liru lai ddi tupng d mpt bude thiet ke nao do, neu dung lenh Save sau nay tim lai se rat khd (vi khdng biet day la version luu thir may). Vi vay Pro/Engineer cung cap cho chung ta mpt edng cu khac la lenh Back up. Ddi tupng luu bang lenh Back up se cd cung ten vdi ddi tupng va d mot thu muc khac do ta chi dinh.
De sir dung lenh Back up, thuc hien nhu sau:
+ Chpn danh muc File/ Backup ...
Chpn thu muc da chira File Backup, click OK de ket thiic lenh.

2.8. Thay doi ten cua doi tirpng
Khi dung lenh Save da luu doi tupng thi ta khong the thay doi thay doi ten da dat trudc do, muon doi ten cua doi tuong phdi sir dung Ipnh Rename, each thuc hien nhu sau.
+ Chpn danh muc File/ Rename
+ Xuat hipn hpp thoai Rename (hinh 2.19).
+ Nhap ten mdi can thay doi, click OK de ket thiic Ipnh.

2.9. Xoa cac doi tu-pTig ra khoi bp nho’
Lpnh Erase cho phep ta xoa doi tupng tren giao dipn va ra khoi bp nho cua may tinh, vipc liru lai doi tupng trong bp nhd may giup de d ^ g md lai doi tupng mpt each nhanh chong nhung se lam cho may chay cham. Neu thay khong can thiet ta dung lenh Erase de xoa doi tupng hoan toan ra khoi bp nhd.
Chpn danh mpe File/Erase...
+ Current: xoa khdi bp nhd ddi tupng hipn hanh;
+ Not Display... xoa tat cd ddi tupng con n to trong bp nhd.
2.10. Xoa cac phien ban cu
Nhu ta da biet, mdi khi dung Ipnh Save thi Pro/Engineer khdng ghi de len file cu ma tao ra mot version mdi hem. Do do neu thay cac version cu khdng can thiet va de tiet kipm khdng gian do, ta c6 the xoa bdt cac version cu bdng each nhu sau. Chpn danh muc File/ Delete vao chpn mpt trong 2 tuy chpn:
+ Old Versions: Xoa tat ca cac phien ban cu va chi de lai phien ban mdi nhat; + All Versions: Xoa tat ca cac phien ban.
Vdi lua chpn Old Versions, cac tap tin phai nam trong thu mpe lam vipc Working Directory.

2.11. Nhirng thao tac co’ ban khi dung Pro/Engineer 3.0
2.11.1. Phong to, thu nho (loi tuong
Trong qua trinh lam viec ta c6 the phong to, thu nho doi tuqng theo cac each sau: + Lan chupt giua (day la each tien Ipd nhat);
+ An to hpfp phim Ctrl + niit chupt giua rpi day chupt giua (hinh 2.20).

3.1. Gioi thieu ve moi trirong ve phac thao
3.1.1. Khdi niem
Ve phac thao (Sketch) dugc thuc hien trong moi tnrcmg Sketch. Trong thiet ke 3 chieu, nipt vat the dii don gian hay phuc tap deu dupe xay dung tir nhung doi tupng cp sp nhu diem, duemg thang hay dupng cong.. .Trong Pro/Engineer, nhung doi tupng noi tren hau nhu dupe ve trong mpt moi truong rieng biet gpi la moi truemg Sketch.
3.1.2. Giao diin moi trudng Sketch
De vao moi truong Sketch ta c6 hai each nhu sau:
- Gian tiep: Trong moi trudng thiet ke Part ta click bieu tupng l ^ . tren thanh cong cu.
- True tiep: chon danh muc File/ New/ Sketch.
Sau khi vao moi truemg Sketch thi giao dipn xuat hipn nhu hinh 3.1.

Trong Pro/Engineer c6 mpt loai dubng khac gpi la duong xay dung (Construction). Duong nay chi c6 y nghia ve mat xac dinh chuan dS xay dung cho cac kich thubc va vi tri cho cac doi tupng hinh hpc khac.
De tao duong Construction ta thuc hien theo mpt trong hai each sau day: + Click chpn mpt doi tupng nao do (Line, Circle...) roi chpn danh muc Edit/Construction (hinh 3.11).

Dung de sao chep mot hay nhieu doi tugng duac chon. De tao lenh ta can pha chon doi tugng trudc sau do vao l?nh theo mpt trong hai each sau:
+ Click bieu tugng Copy roi click bieu tugng Paste .

Khi ve phac thi ta chi can ve so bp hinh dang, Pro/Engineer tu dong dua ra cac kich thudc, de hieu chinh ta thuc hien theo hai each sau day:

Tren giao dien do hpa ta nhap chupt hai Ian true tiep len con s6 kich thudc, nhap con so kich thudc mdi rdi an Enter de ket thuc.
